Divisions & rankings

Climb
the ranks

From the Proving Grounds
to Legend.

Every producer starts in the Proving Grounds. Win battles, build your rating and put in the work, and you move up: Rookie, Pro, Elite, and the few who make it all the way, Legend.

  1. Legend 2,000+ rating 100 battles
  2. Elite 1,700+ rating 50 battles
  3. Pro 1,400+ rating 20 battles
  4. Rookie 1,100+ rating 5 battles
  5. Proving Grounds 0+ rating Where everyone starts

Two things move you up

1

Your rating

Everyone starts at 1,000. Win a battle and your rating goes up. Lose and it goes down. It's the measure of how good you are right now.

2

Battles completed

Every battle that finishes, win or lose, counts toward your experience. Higher divisions need more battles under your belt, so nobody gets there on one lucky night.

You need both to move up.

Your division is checked after every battle you finish. Hit the rating and the battle count for the next division and you move up automatically.

What a win is worth

In today's open battles, a typical win moves your rating about 10 points. A loss takes about the same away. A single battle can move you more when:

  • You beat someone rated higher. Upsets pay more. Losing to a stronger producer costs less.
  • You win big. A wider gap in average score earns up to 50% more.
  • More people vote. Battles with more votes count for more, up to double at 100 votes.
  • The battle is bigger. Tournaments, cash battles and championships carry more weight.
Battle type Rating weight
Open pool battle 0.75×
Direct challenge / rematch 1×
Tournament / crew battle 1.25×
Cash battle 1.5×
Championship 2×

No single battle can move a rating more than 80 points.

"More wins than losses" is a rough guide at about 10 points a win. Bigger wins, upsets and bigger battles get you there faster.

Why climb

What you unlock

Every level opens up more. The biggest one: RocBattle shares platform revenue with producers, and the higher your division, the bigger your share. Elite and Legend producers earn the highest level of profit share. The more you battle and win, the more you stand to earn.

Every vote counts the same

Divisions never change how much a vote counts. A Legend's vote and a new member's vote carry the same weight, in every battle, every month.

Keeping your spot

  • Your rating has to stay up. Every division has a rating floor. Fall below it and you drop to the division below until you win your way back.
  • Your battle count never goes down. Experience is yours to keep. Only your rating can slip.
  • Every battle counts. Divisions update after each battle you finish, so one bad run won't hold you back if you keep winning.
  • There's a safety net. No rating ever falls below 100.

The pace

Each producer can battle up to 15 times a month, so nobody can grind their way past everyone in a week. Moving up is about winning, month after month.

  • Rookie fastest possible: about 1 month
  • Pro fastest possible: about 3 months
  • Elite fastest possible: about 5 months
  • Legend fastest possible: about 7 months
