Midi 4 Reason Help

I switched to a M-Audio basic midi controller & for some reason it works to play patches but not to record them.

The only thing im hearing during playback of recordings are whatever percussion ive laid down in Redrum...but whatever synths i attempt to add arent recording @ all...gotta be something ive missed if any1 has an idea what it was please letme know.

Hey! They are so many things that you could be doing wrong or it could be that ur system isn't recognising the controller you are using(although it should)check your settings in Edt>Preferences>and see if those settings are matching up to anything you have like your sound card or your midi controller or the latency.Holla back . Thanks Drum..i figured out i had the wrong controller selected as my master keyboard. Preciate your help though thank you.
